Who we are
OwnAI PH ("we", "us") operates a platform that lets businesses build AI assistants. Our DPO can be reached at privacy@ownai.ph.
What we collect
- Account data: email, name, business name.
- Assistant data: the FAQs, text, and configuration you upload.
- Conversation data: messages exchanged between visitors and your assistant.
- Lead data: name, contact, and request submitted by your visitors with their consent.
- Billing records & support messages.
- Security & usage logs.
Why we collect it
- To run, secure, and improve the Service (contract & legitimate interest).
- To comply with legal obligations (Data Privacy Act, tax, accounting).
- To send service-related communications.
AI processing
Your assistant's messages are processed by third-party AI providers via our Lovable AI Gateway. We do not allow these providers to train models on your data. Visitors are shown an AI disclosure on every published assistant.
Retention
- Account data: while your account is active, plus 12 months.
- Conversations: 12 months (configurable in Settings).
- Leads: until you delete them.
- Billing records: 10 years (BIR requirement).
Your rights (Data Privacy Act, RA 10173)
You may request access, correction, deletion, blocking, or objection at any time. Submit a request via /data-deletion or email privacy@ownai.ph. We respond within 30 days.
Breach reporting
If we suffer a personal data breach that may pose real risk, we will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected data subjects within 72 hours, in line with NPC rules.
Third-party processors
We use processors for hosting (Cloudflare, Supabase/PostgreSQL), AI inference (Lovable AI Gateway routing to OpenAI / Google), and email. We require all processors to implement appropriate safeguards.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for login sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
